Two similar CAS cards today, using one of my favourite combination of black, white and red.
Two similar CAS cards today, using one of my favourite combination of black, white and red.
I die cut the background with a Poppystamps 'Atessa Collage' die in white card. After matting and layering on red, then black card, I added a black Memory Box 'Prim Poppy' die cut. A sentiment finished off my card.
The second card is the same design, just swapping the red and black colours and adding a different sentiment.

As promised in my last post, here are just a few photos taken around Lake Garda, Italy last week.
As we crossed the lake towards the castle.....
..... we realised there was a bride and groom on the balcony. What a fabulous place to have a wedding!

I want to experience that first photo. lol The ice cream, drinks and snacks look so yummy. Love the cut of that fab die and then the poppies on top.
It looks very beautiful in both colour ways.
Oh my I am so envious of your photos as I have always wanted to go there.
Don't think I will in my life time now so I have to be satisfied with just looking at photos.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Two very different looking cards as a result of changing the colours round I think I like the second one the most. Malcesine! Know it well. I take it you were staying at Limone. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteWe actually stayed in Garda, but used the local buses and ferries to visit lots of places around the lake. Walked to Bardolino and back along the lakeside too. Didn't manage to go up the cable car in Malcesine as there was a two and a half hour wait, so went over to Limone instead. xx
DeleteBeautiful pix - TFS, I enjoyed Riva on Lake Garda very much.
ReplyDeleteSuper card, loving the use of dies

ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous versions of the same design, Liz. Love that collage die and the double frame. So envious of your holiday, the photos look amazing, and of course those cocktails. My step-sister was married at a castle in Lake Garda a few years ago (assume it was this one) but I was gutted as I couldn't afford to go. One day I might actually come into some cash and be able to visit such a lovely place.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
