Anniversary Card

The past ten days have been the hardest of my life as a parent, so emotionally exhausting.   However old your children are, there are times when you would change places with them in a heartbeat if you could.

I made this card for friends who celebrated their wedding anniversary recently.

The patterned papers were snippets left over from the card I made HERE, so I'll be sharing card over in The Playground.  I used the same sketch as I used for my card HERE.  I used a Memory Box 'Postage Square Layers' die with snippets of white card.  The large hearts and sentiment are punched.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. Dear Liz,
My thoughts are with you. I know how it is to feel helpless because your child has to go through hard times. God bless you and your family!
Your card is just wonderful! I like that Memory Box Square die. Think I have to look for it next time I order something new.
    Hugs, Liv

  2. Pretty anniversary card - great use of squares. Liz, I'm sorry to hear that your child is having a terrible time - you don't say what the issue is so I hope it is something that is possible to resolve and that things will be better soon. You are right about being a parent. One of my children is 13 and the other is 36 and the older one is just as much of a worry as the younger one! I wish you strength.
