Surf's Up

It's the first Saturday in May and time for a new Crafty Calendar Challenge.  The theme this month is 'Masculine'.

For the background, I made a stencil with a cloud die and lightly stencilled sky with 'Blueprint Sketch' Distress Ink.  The sea is embossed with a Creative Expression 'Ocean Waves' e/f.   I added a sun in the corner with a Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' die cut and added a strip of ric rac between the sea and the sky.  Our generous sponsor, Bugaboo Digi Stamps, kindly gave the DT digi stamps to work with and I chose to use 'Surfing Guy'.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and die cut it into a rectangle with a Memory Box 'Stitched Rectangle Layers' die and layered it on a red mat.  The image is raised up on foam tape.

The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on 28th May.  Please pop over to the blog to see all the lovely cards the DT have made for inspiration.  The DT will choose a Top 3 and the randomly chosen winner will win a prize from Bugaboo Digi Stamps.

I am joining the following challenges:
