Noel

I'm home from a lovely short break with my hubby and daughter in Manchester, a city I've never visited before.   I'll add a few photos at the end of this post.

The last Rudolph Day Challenge for 2021 started yesterday.  A month today will be Boxing Day!

I followed the instructions for this card fold HERE.  The patterned paper is from a Trimcraft paper pad, 'The Night Before Christmas'.  The circles are Lisa Horton's 'Stitched Scalloped Circles' dies and I used an Xcut Mini Die 'Noel'.  A tiny clear gem in the middle of the 'O' finished off my card.

The card folds flat for posting.

I am joining in the following challenges:

Our trip to the Manchester area included a visit to Old Trafford football stadium, the home of Manchester United.....

..... a fascinating wander round the Lowry Gallery.....

.....and an amazing experience at the Van Gogh Alive.

The paintings of Van Gogh were projected onto large screens, all set to music.

  1. Glad you enjoyed your trip Liz (although I would have come down the East Lancs Road to visit another red football stadium!)
The Lowry is a fab place.
Lovely card - I so envy you with these great folds!

  6. Super card Liz, and I really love the fold. Great, great photos too, Lowrey did a lovely painting of North Shields station from one corner, many years ago. I worked in the Electricity Showroom Office nearby, aged 18 and still wondering what to do with my 'career', (a good while later then Lowrey I hasten to add) doing clerical work for a while, (oy, vey!) and could just about peep out of the upstairs 'general' office window when bored and look over at the station. Just longing to go home each evening and dodging my snoopy and very creepy manager - from North Shields to Monkseaton railway station and be safe at home with my Mum and Dad at the end of the day. Lucky you. I love his work - and also really love your card!

  12. Love the box fold Liz, what a great design. I always appreciate a good display card, especially at Christmastime, and it's always a bonus when they can fold flat and fit into a standard envelope.

    Cheers,
