Circles

A card today using an idea for using snippets which I saw on the 'Creative Minds Kind Hearts' Facebook group page.   The original card used squares and square frames.  I thought I'd use circles, a stamped sentiment and a few flowers and pearls on my card to put my own twist on the design.

I had quite a few snippets of patterned paper, all from the same paper pad from The Range.  I used several different sized circle punches and made a few punched flowers too from the snippets. I stamped the image first using a stamp I bought in Hobbycraft ages ago and never used.  It was a bargain buy, which from memory cost 50p or a £1.  I randomly placed the circles around the sentiment and attached a few flowers with pearl centres.  The turquoise mat was a larger snippet of patterned paper.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  5. Hi Liz, love this one - yes it's a great way to use up scraps, but it's also a very elegant and versatile card. The basis is good for male or female, depending on the papers used. Very clever! Sarah P.S. - reading back a post, sounds like you had a lovely holiday!
