Cluck Cluck

My computer crashed over three weeks ago and I finally got it back today.  Fortunately the repairers were able to save everything on my computer before fitting a new hard drive.   Note to self.... regularly back up my computer as I could have lost everything, including all the photos of my cards!

Today's card is a birthday card for a friend who celebrated her birthday earlier this month.  As she keeps chickens, I decided to make a little cross-stitched chicken picture for the front of the card.

The background was embossed with a Crafts-Too 'Feathers' embossing folder.  I added a strip of ribbon with little chicks on across the middle.  The matted cross-stitched image is raised up on foam pads.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  2. Sorry you have had problems with your computer Liz, and pleased for you that nothing was lost, that would have been awful for you. I love your cute cross stitched chicken, and such a pretty mix of colours, and the complementary feathers embossing and ribbon with little chicks on it go brilliantly. x
