I'm sneaking in with a last minute card for the Rudolph Days Challenge which closes today.
I haven't had much time to craft for the last couple of weeks as our bathroom is being transformed in to shower room with a walk in shower. There are piles of building materials everywhere and as for the dust...... it gets everywhere! Hopefully it will be finished by the end of next week. I did manage to get into my craft room today and sort out a few things at the back of a cupboard. I came an envelope with ten dark red card blanks with cream stars. I've no idea where they came from and I can't remember buying them, so I guess they were given to me a long time ago. I die cut a Memory Box 'Leaping Reindeer' in cream. The sentiment is a stamp from the Woodware 'Useful Christmas' set, stamped with Versafine 'Crimson Red' on a snippet of cream card. I corner rounded the corners and attached the sentiment with foam pads to add some dimension. So a very quick card today and I think I will make a few more using some of the other card blanks as I'm really behind making my Christmas cards this year.
I am joining in the following challenges:
Your card base was a wonderful find Liz and perfect for your diecut reindeer and sentiment, your new bathroom will be worth the wait
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Liz, the card blanks are so pretty too.

Love your die cut card. Thanks for joining us at Rudolph Days challenge
ReplyDeleteGosh, don't envy you going through the bathroom conversion- but will be worth it when it's done- hope it all goes smoothly and is finished on time.
ReplyDeleteThe Christmas card is gorgeous, love the dark red and cream combo- very elegant.
xx
Wow. Gorgeous Christmas card with the deep red & cream!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant make Luz with your unexpected find … the cream reindeer is perfect for that background. Good luck with your bathroom project .. I’m sure it will be worth it in the end. Our bathroom could do with updating, but tbh with only one bathroom I can’t face it lol! xx
ReplyDeleteWe’ve got a toilet and shower downstairs. The shower is quite ‘compact’ but at least we can shower. I don’t think we could have updated the bathroom without them both. x
DeleteWhat a great find, it looks fab with the reindeer. I’m sure you’ll enjoy your new bathroom, but I don’t envy you the dust ugh! xxx
ReplyDeleteUgh, meant to add LesleyG…..as I’m in anonymous mode 🙄
ReplyDeleteThe colours and design make for a very elegant card Liz. Sympathise with he bathroom, but will be nice when done, we did the same with our main bathroom, sometimes hubby moans showers in all of them now but more practical.
