As I was so behind this Christmas making all my cards this year, I decided to make a start on my cards for Christmas 2026. I made about a dozen of this design using different patterned papers and snippets of red card and I used a couple of them for last minute cards I needed to send.
The patterned paper was from a 6" x 6" paper pad from The Works. I die cut the frame using MFT 'Stitched Diagonal Cover-up' die. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Greatest Part of Christmas' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Nocture'. After attaching a rectangle of patterned paper behind the frame, I layered it on a red mat.

I had lots of red and patterned papers left over, so rather than put them in my snippets drawer never to be seen again, I decided to make some more Christmas cards with a different design.
I cut the patterned paper into 1½" squares and the red mats into 1¾" squares and corner rounded all the corners. The snowflake is a die cut from the Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes'. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Perfectly Plaid' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Nocture'. I have a pile of small square ready to make up some more of this design this afternoon.
