I'm on a mission to reduce my snippets pile and also keep ahead with my Christmas cards.
The patterned papers were all snippets from a paper pad from The Works, cut into 2cm strips. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Greatest Part of Christmas' set, stamped with SU 'Night of Navy'. I used an SU punch for the navy blue mat for the sentiment.

Super snippets card for next season! Great way to use up paper strips (if you don’t lick ‘em and stick ‘em up as paper chains!!!)l
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse shortly for a mug of hot chocolate (with extras, and I’m not just talking marshmallows!!!). xxx
Great use of snippets Liz really love card hugs xx
ReplyDeleteA great snippets make Liz with a very pretty mix of blue papers and they stand out beautifully against the dark blue background, and the added seasonal sentiment stamped and added to that lovely shaped punched shape looks great over the top and finishes it brilliantly. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Liz, great use of your snippets.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful display with snippets and card, awesome designing ♥
ReplyDeleteGreat use of snippets Liz! Loving all the shades of blue you used. Tell Sarn that back in MY day we had to make do with Gloy or similar when making paper chains! No pre-glued malarky when I were just a bairn!

I’d forgotten about having to glue paper chains ourselves as children. I remember being excited when pre-cut, pre-glued paper chain strips became available. 🤣
DeleteThe cool blue palette and clean strip layout make this such a striking winter design. The way the snippets shift in pattern and tone adds movement without ever feeling busy, and the deep navy mat grounds the sentiment beautifully. A wonderfully efficient use of leftovers that still feels polished and intentional.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, like that background and the sentiment is great too!
ReplyDeleteLovely way to use up your pretty snippets Liz, great sentiment too! xxx
