When I was invited to be a Guest Designer over on the Butterfly Challenge for a second time, I was absolutely delighted! I chose the letter 'L' and Mrs A chose the theme of 'L for Lace' to go with the butterflies. Although I could use real, paper or stamped lace, I opted for the real thing.
I made a spring fold card in pink, decorated with a Spellbinders 'Les Papillions Two' die cuts in white and matt silver. The butterfly corner punch is one I seem to use a lot more now I've discovered the Butterfly Challenge! The pink lace across the bottom is from The Works - a bargain at only £1 for the reel. Pink and pale silver pearls finished of my card.
I'm looking forward to seeing all your butterfly cards over on the Butterfly Challenge this fortnight and look forward to visiting your blogs. Thank you, Mrs A, for giving me the honour of being your Guest Designer again.

ReplyDeleteI never understood these spring form cards before now. I knew they popped open but somehow it escaped me that it was made to stand up like that. Anyway, I see the light!!! I love your card and I covet your butter corner punch.
ReplyDeleteThe Spring Fold cards are so easy to make. I make sure I use the VERY sticky DST to stick the top part it the flat bottom bit, otherwise it comes apart. xx
DeleteBeautiful spring fold card with a fabulous butterfly.

Congrats on a well-deserved honor over at B'fly Challenge. Mrs A knows a good thing! This is just so lovely & delicate, and I love those tiny punches on the corner. That butterfly is gorgeous the way you've used this die. On the Misti, I didn't think about the magnets either. I'm betting that lots of others didn't know about the danger, definitely the seller. It's brilliant that Our Darnell picked up on it, and did some of her own investigation. I wanted to be sure I posted her caveat at my blog, since I had shown the product. It's just something that anyone with this type of device needs to be stringently aware of, and check out to avoid problems. TFS & Hugs.
