Double, double, toil and trouble..... fire burn and cauldron bubble!

I don't usually make Halloween cards, but made this one today for a couple of challenges.
The background was made using two ink pads,  Adirondack 'Purple Twilight' and 'Black Soot' Distress Ink.  The ink was applied with Ink Dusters, using a mask for the hills and moon.  All the stamps are by Lavinia and stamped with a Versafine 'Onyx' ink pad.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  2. I'm not a big Halloween fan either but this is stunning! Everything is so perfectly positioned - the hills, the moon and the bats draw the eye down to the witch and her cauldron and all the framing plants are in perfect proportion. Wonderful!

  5. Wow Liz! I love this monochromatic scene. The background is fabulous! I'm partial to silhouette stamps too - so your witch stamp is a winner too! Love the detail of her shawl - works so well with the web!

  9. I am loving seeing my British friends making Halloween cards and this one is most excellent. Lovely(spooky!) scene and so atmospheric in your color choices..very gloomy. Those Lavinia stamps are wonderful, and your hills and shading are just spectacular. Good JOB! TFS & have a great Sunday.
