Halloween Treat Boxes

I'm thinking of putting a sign outside our house 'Enter At Your Own Risk.  It's not a healthy place to be!'  This cold bug has knocked me sideways and I still can't shift it.  DH caught it a couple of days ago and on top of that has somehow caught a sickness bug.  Creativity flew out of the window as the cold bug arrived, so I decided to try and tempt it back yesterday by making some Halloween treat boxes.

I used a Sizzix pillow box die and embossed the box shape with a Cuttlebug 'Happy Hauntings' embossing folder, the folder comes as part of a set of four.  The ghost is an old yellow Sizzix die, which I cut out using snippets of white card, before attaching to a black scalloped die cut.  The boxes are filled with milk chocolate eyeballs.

This photo shows the back of the pillow boxes.

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Week 200 ~ Use Snippets (waiting for the gates to open again in the morning)

  1. So sorry to hear about the sickness that you and hubby has had. It sounds as if you've both been having a grim time.

Having said that your mojo has returned with a vengeance. Those little ghostly pillow boxes are fantastic. What's extra creepy is when I scrolled down the little boxes appeared to wobble. I love chocolate but may have to be really tempted to eat those spooky looking eyes. Really, great makes Liz. Barbxx

  7. These are a wonderful treat for the kids. They will be thrilled. We don't get any trick or treaters in our neighborhood and I miss seeing the little ones all dressed up. I hope you both are starting to feel better.

  8. Wonderful little boxes Liz and your visitors will be thrilled! I hesitated and wondered whether to make some for our callers here - but we get absolutely loads so they'll have to make do with dipping into the pots of Celebrations and such!

Oh I do hope you feel better soon, awful when you can't shake a cold off :(

    Hugs

Do you think you could stagger into the Playground with some of these lovely treat boxes in your satchel . . . we're having a bit of a party at the back of the bike sheds. I have something there that will revive you, honest!
