Watching the Snow Fall

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American blogging friends.

 The Lavinia Stamps challenge this month is 'Christmas'.  I haven't made an easel card for ages, so I decided to use one of my favourite Lavinia dies, a recent birthday present, for this easel card.


The Lavinia die is 'Star Gazing'.  The white background behind the die is embossed with a snowflake embossing folder, although it doesn't show up very well in the photos.  The papers are from a Lili of the Valley 'Frosty Christmas' paper pad.  I attached two snowflake brads to the sentiment panel, which is raised up on foam tape.  A punched snowflake was added to the top right hand corner with tiny foam pads.

    This is so sweet. Love the little fairies looking out at the snowflakes - a perfect holiday card. Love the colors you chose too and the easel fold!

    I love the way the easel card looks and this is so pretty. I've never attempted one so I am always in awe when you make it. That is a stunning die and so sweet.

    I love these die cut fairies,and the pretty papers you have used here Liz, it is a lovely card.
    I'm sorry I have have missed some of your posts recently, time is whizzing by so fast these days and I always seem to be playing catch up with something. Any way your Christmas cards all look great, you are a whizz at the fancy folds and I love the MB frosty tree you used.
