A birthday card for a friend this week. I know she won't look at my blog, so it's safe to post it on here. :-)
The panel on the left was die cut with a Poppy Stamps 'Trudeau Border' die and tiny white pearls added to the centre of each flower shape. The flowers are die cut from a snippet of white linen card with Memory Box 'Row of Poppies'.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
The die cut panel looks fabulous with those poppies! Simply beautiful!

Beautiful card Liz! The blue is a gorgeous backdrop and the border die beautifully compliments the poppies. I just picked up that die, I'll need to put it to use!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Liz! Love the white against the glorious shade of blue and I adore both those dies you used, both are new to me and as I just said about the embossing folder - am sitting firmly on my hands here! Gosh you do find some fabulous goodies - and use them so invitingly as well!

Hi Liz,
ReplyDeletewhat a brilliant card, and such a very lovely shade of blue.
Great design too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
The colour of this blue and white card reminds me of Wedgewood Pottery Liz. I love that poppy die which I have just bought myself but haven't used it yet though. The border looks great down the lefthand side and is finished really prettily with the pearls. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Card Liz. What a lovely blue and the panel works so well. Barbxx
