The current Cuttlebug Mania challenge is 'Baby, it's cold outside', to include a snowman. So, I thought I'd 'build' a snowman.
The card base was cut with a Presscut 'Scallop Semi Circle' die. I think the card is supposed to go the other way up and stand up looking like a shell shape, but I decided to put it this way to make a rocker card. I die cut a semi circle, using one of the dies that comes with the set and embossed it with a Crafter's Companion 'Snowflakes' e/f. The die cut snowflakes are Memory Box 'Twilight Snowflakes', another Christmas present from a crafty friend. The snowman was made using two Memory Box 'Stitched Circle' dies, embossed with a Sheena Douglass 'Snowfall' e/f. The hat was die cut from a snippet of blue card, using a really old Sizzlets die. Black gems, a ribbon scarf and a nose cut out of a snippet of orange card finished off the snowman.

I love the way you've done the bottom! Looks like he has a snowflake skirt on, and this is just way too fun. Great way to use your circles to build this cute guy, and his attire is just too fashionable for words! Very cleverly done shaped card! TFS & Hugs.

ReplyDeleteOMGoodness Liz, this card is just adorable! I love that you made a rocker card, never tried one before but just might have to after seeing yours! I also love that snowman you built, he is just the cutest and I just love the embossing on him. Love all the embossing and those fabulous snowflakes! There are places that shut down here in the States with a few inches of snow too. lol Here though, it is just another winter day. Hugs, Brenda
