Christmas Weaving

The Rudolph Days Challenge runs from the 25th until the end of the month, so there are a few days left to enter a Christmas project.

My card today uses up some patterned paper snippets.  I cut two different Christmas patterned papers into 1 1/2 cm strips and wove them together.  I die cut a red frame using Creative Expressions 'Double Pierced Square' dies and attached it over the woven pattern.  This was matted and layered onto a white piece of card and the red card blank.  The sentiment was stamped the Versafine 'Onyx'.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. This weaving of two patterned papers is a great idea Liz and the dark red frame goes beautifully with the bit of white to break it up. A really pretty card, and thank you for joining in with the May Rudolph Days Challenge. x

  6. The weaving is a great idea for using up the odd strips of paper which I'm sure we all get left with and can't bear to throw out!! The frame just seems to set it off nicely.
