Musical Birthday

A CAS card today for a musical friend who lives half way round the world.  We first met online playing Scrabble about six years ago.  We met IRL in the UK three years ago and again in New Zealand earlier this year, when I was lucky enough to go there for a holiday.
The musical die cut is Memory Box 'Party Music' cut with black card.  The e/f I used was Embossalicious 'Seasonal Music'. I added a strip of Anna Marie Designs striped patterned paper across the middle for added interest, but still keeping the card CAS.

    Great use of the music EF, really like the design idea you executed on this pretty card. It is perfectly CAS but packs a lot of design oomph with the way you've placed the DP, the trims, and using B&W. How lucky to have been able to meet your online friend IRL! Such fun. Happy wkend, and TFS

    This is a beautiful elegant card Liz and the music die cut is complemented perfectly by the embossed music on the bottom half of the card, and the black and white ribbon joins the two together so prettily. x
