The Butterfly Challenge now includes a card shape as something to include as well as a choice of colours and themes. This fortnight the card shape is a bi-fold card and I decided to try this 'new to me' type of fold to enter the challenge. Instructions for the fold can be found here.
All the designer paper came from a Wild Rose Studio Paper Stack, 'Butterfly Glade'. The butterfly was made with Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' and 'Isabella Butterfly' dies, layered on a Spellbinders 'Big Scalloped Circle' die cut.
This photo shows the card open. I attached a Spellbinders 'Labels 26' die cut inside for the message. I decided not to add a sentiment, but one will be included with the message when I send the card.
I am joining in the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteI love your choice of design papers. As you can imagine I have rather a lot of butterflies ( both stamps and die cuts) in my craft room but my favourite die is the Isabella / pippi . Superb bi fold card. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me . Hugs Mrs A.

I like trying all new things and you are nailing it. This is so pretty with the pattern papers and unique folds. The butterfly is lovely on that scalloped mat.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card and an interesting bi-fold. Some cards just don't 'work' with added sentiments on the outside but your idea of the label for inside is a good one.
