Today my hubby and I are celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary. Where does the time go!!?? This is the card I made for him.
The blue card is pearlised and as the 45th Anniversary is Sapphire is was the perfect colour to use. I made a frame using Sue Wilson 'Double Pierced Squares' dies. The embossing was done with an Xcut 'Small Polka Hearts' e/f. The decorative die cut in the middle is a die from the Xcut 'Heart Frames' set of dies. The sentiment is computer generated.
I am joining in the following challenges:
As promised in my last post, a few photos taken in beautiful Florence this week.
Michelangelo's 'David'.
Happy Anniversary, Liz. I wish you all the best, my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these lovely photos from Florence. I love Ponte Vecchio and, of course, David. Did you go to Uffici? It is amazing! Kisses!!!
No, we didn't get to Uffici. Although we had four nights in Florence, there was so much to see and do, we couldn't do it all. Hope to go back sometime to visit more place there. xx

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Liz...and your photos are lovely...a place I have never been to. I bet hubby was pleased with his card..very fitting for the occasion. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteThis is the perfect sapphire colour card Liz and a beautiful card for your hubby. I love the XCut Heart Frame surrounded by the double stitched squares and the pretty small heart embossing looks great too, and the CG sentiment has a lovely font. Do you have a special font packagage you use or do you just use the ones the 'Word', but I always love how you make your own sentiments as they always look so professional. Wonderful photos of your trip to Florence, I saw them all on Facebook, you obviously had a brilliant time. It is somewhere I would love to go too and I must get hubby to take me on the next big anniversary if not before. x
ReplyDeleteI just use the Word fonts, Pat. I seem to use more computer sentiments these days so I can get the text to say just what I want, at the size and colour I need. I think this particular one was called 'Harrington'. xx
Delete...... and you really must get to Florence one day, it's the most beautiful place. The photos don't really do it justice. xx
DeleteBelated Anniversary Wishes to you both. What a lovely card, really eyecatching x
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary to you and your hubby!! I hope you have a wonderful celebration!! The card is so beautiful and what gorgeous pictures of Florence!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)
