Happy 75th Anniversary of VE Day!
I made this card last night and intended to link it to the Allsorts Challenge this morning, but I got carried away in the kitchen cooking for the celebrations later this afternoon. So I'm joining in the challenge by the skin of my teeth!
I used a Memory Box Large Circle Burst in a square of red card, slightly smaller than the card blank. I dry embossed three lines on each side before attaching to the card blank. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up 'Varied Vases' stamp set, stamped with Versafine 'Onyx Black'. The butterfly was made with Poppystamps 'Lyndon Butterfly' and 'Elsa Butterfly' dies. I wanted to add a body to the butterfly, so used the body from a Memory Box 'Pippi Butterfly' die. The white corners are Sizzix Sizzlets 'Photo Corners' die cuts..... using a really old die!
I am joining in the following challenges:
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge ~ Use Dies and/or Punches
Try it on Tuesday Challenge ~ Black and White + One Colour
Unicorn Challenge #54 ~ Use Dies
AAA Birthday Challenge - Game #13 ~ Things with Wings
