Cheers!

The Memory Box Challenge ends today so I'm sneaking in a last minute entry with a Kir Royale cocktail for the theme "I'll drink to that!".  I've never tried a Kir Royale cocktail, but crème de cassis (blackcurrant liqueur) and champagne sounds like a delicious combination!

I used an MFT 'Cross-Stitch Tag' die and chopped off the top of the tag to make a rectangle.  The cross stitching was done with crochet cotton. For the background I used a Memory Box 'Bubble Burst' die and the deep red mats are pearlised paper.  A Woodware sentiment was stamped using a Stampin' Up 'Cherry Cobbler' inkpad.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  3. Hi Liz,
oh this is such a brilliant card and a very beautiful design too.
Love the cross stitch cocktail glass and the lovely colours used.
Not heard of that cocktail but then I don't drink so that is maybe why.
I was brought up in a pub and after seeing people drunk and what not it turned me the other way.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  19. This is the second time recently I have seen this unusual and fun Bubble Burst die and it looks great with the stitched cocktail Liz, and I love the look with the red card behind it and making a matted background layer and a matching layer behind the stitched topper, also a very stylish Deco look to the sentiment...a super card! x
