Crafty Calendar Challenge ~ Anything Goes

We returned home late last night from a few days in our caravan in North Devon.  Looking at the forecast for this weekend of heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds, we decided to cut our holiday short and come home several days early.  It feels more like autumn today, I hope we've still got some summer sunshine to come this year!

The Crafty Calendar August Challenge begins with the easy theme of 'Anything Goes'. Our sponsor this month is Hetty Clare Art.

For my DT card, I used a precoloured Hetty Clare Art digi stamp 'The Hamster Flower'.  The patterned paper is from a paper pad from The Works.  I finished off my card with three pink sequins.

The Crafty Calendar Challenge ends on 28th August.  Please head over to the blog to see all the beautiful cards the DT have made for inspiration.

I am joining in the following challenges:

    1. On the plus side, as least we were able to come home early, unlike some of the holidaymakers coping with the intense heat and wildfires in parts of southern Europe. x

  13. Liz, this is absolutely adorable and I think it's one of the best pre-colored images I've seen! Love it with the bright pink border and sequins. So darn cute! I'm sorry you had to cut your vacation short. We have sure enjoyed our motorhome trips in the past, but this summer was a stay at home. Thank you for sharing your darling card with us at Double D.

  20. I love this card Liz! It's adorable! You have colored it up perfectly, that glass vase looks all but real looking. Love the hamsters, they are way too cute! I also love the paper you chose as well. We just had bad storms roll through my area with tornado warning tonight. I could still the clouds spinning and rotating around, so I was doing some praying! Wild winds as well. So I understand cutting your little holiday short. I'm with you, not ready to let go of summer, so hope it hangs around longer too! Hugs, Brenda
