Christmas Stocking

Another Christmas card to join in with Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards.

The image is from Beccy's Place and was a freebie from a few years ago.  I coloured the image with Promarkers and used Memory Box 'Stitched Oval Layers' for matting and layering.  I added a few yellow gems around the image.  The background was embossed with a Cuttlebug baubles embossing folder, another preloved find from the charity shop and having it's first outing.  The matted sentiment is layered over a strip of ribbon.  Does anyone else have enough ribbon to open their own ribbon shop?   🤣

I am joining in the following challenges:

  6. Great card - I must own up to having copious quantities of ribbon (and probably lots of other items too), easily enough to open possibly a chain of shops, not just one 🤣🤣

  9. You obviously have some good charity shops down your way as have never seen anything other than an embroidery kit in any of ours, and this bauble embossing folder is very pretty as a background to you beautifully coloured stocking filled with baubles Liz, and great finishing touches with the ribbon and gems. x

  10. Yes! I could definitely open a ribbon shop Liz... and a patterned paper shop as well. And yet, I can never find exactly the right thing.
Love your colourful card, it's happy and festive. The embossing looks great in the background, it works well with the image and adds a nice texture.
    Cheers,
