W Fold Card and Snowmen

I made this card for a friend's birthday.

The patterned paper is from a paper pad from The Range. The flower was made with dies from a  Lisa Horton Box kit.  I used a sentiment stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Humming Along' set.

When the card is opened, it reveals the 'W'.  I attached the die cut butterflies to punched circles.  The back of the card is plain for the message.

Another Christmas card to join in with Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards.  Today is a card for 'D',  I'm sure the big  snowman is a Daddy Snowman. 😉
The image is a Bugaboo digi stamp, which is sadly no longer available.  I coloured the image with Promarkers.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Perfectly Plaid', stamped with Versafine 'Satin Red'. The background is embossed with a Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder, another purchase from the charity shop and used for the first time, so I'll be joining in the NBUS challenge again.  I finished off my card with some tiny clear gems to add some sparkle.

  1. The 'W' fold is great Liz and I love the pretty papers and the beautiful die cut flower on the front and the equally lovely butterflies decorating the fold, and also another cute snowman with some super colouring, and the snowflake embossed background is perfect. x

  3. Such a cute image, and I'm sure you're right about him being a Dad to the little snowman Liz. Lovely colouring, so bright and cheerful. I also like the embossed background and the scattering of little gems.
    Cheers,

  6. The surprise butterflies on the first card is a great way to have fun with a card for the recipient. It is always fun to give something unexpected in a card. That is one adorable snowman image too.
