I've bought a few 12" x 12" paper pads from The Range recently which include a couple of sheets with a large design across the whole page. I've used one of the pages to make these two cards. The top half of the page was plain navy blue, so I'll save it to use for mats on future cards.
That's a gorgeous design Liz, really bold and beautiful.

Love the layout and bright florals
ReplyDeleteA great idea to use the large design on the paper and split it into three for a card front.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing! Very clever idea, Liz.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful paper and design Liz. How change the effect with different mats!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful floral paper Liz and love the yellow mats for the three panels on the first, and then the red on the second, both look great, but I think I do marginally prefer the yellow..to me yellow is the colour of Spring. x
ReplyDeleteA great way to use patterned paper, so effective. I must see if I have anything that fits the bill, thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant way to display these gorgeous papers Liz, the paper pads from the Works have some lovely designs, they are such good value. xx

Both cards make a real statement in those papers. So grogeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a smart way to maximize your paper pads! The large designs on these cards look fantastic, and repurposing the plain navy blue section for future projects is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThese are really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card and a fab way to use a larger patterned paper.
