Good Luck

I needed to make a quick Good Luck card today.  I looked through my abandoned half finished cards and came across this one.  I had already cut the front of a white card blank in half, covered it in green card and attached a triangle of dotty paper.  Then I changed my mind and made a totally different card. It's been sat in my unfinished projects box for probably a couple of years.

The patterned paper was from an old Papermania 'Secret Garden' paper pad.  I used punches for the lucky four leaf clovers and layered them on Memory Box die cut circles.  The inside of the back of the card looked too plain, so I looked through my snippets and by chance found a thin strip of the same patterned paper, so I added it across the top.  I finished off my card with a sentiment, attached with foam pads to add some dimension.

I remembered to take a photo of the snippets I used, except I forgot to take a photo of the strip of patterned paper before putting in on the card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  9. Good thing you saved the card as it certainly made a sweet good luck card! Can be so frustrating when you just need one more little piece of matching paper and don't have it. Maybe your good luck will rub off on the recipient--haha!

  11. A wonderful strong shade of green Liz and love the four leaf clovers down the edge of the front of the card, and the dotted paper to match the front of the card, finishes the inside of the card so prettily with the addition of the lovely sentiment. x

  15. What a wonderful way to repurpose a forgotten project into a charming Good Luck card! The Papermania 'Secret Garden' paper lends a delightful touch, and the lucky four-leaf clovers add a perfect thematic element. It's great to see how you incorporated snippets to add that extra detail. Good luck with your card-making endeavors!
