Oh Christmas Tree.....

Five months until Christmas Day, so time for the Rudolph Days July Challenge.  A very quick and easy CAS to share today.

The patterned paper was from my snippets drawer, where it's been sat for probably 10+ years.  It originally came from one of those sheets of patterned paper which has various patterned horizontal panels.  There were just two panel left,  one with the trees and one with the text.  I cut the tree panel to fit the red mat and decided to use just a short part of the text panel. (I now can't get the carol out of my head! "♬O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree, How lovely are thy branches...... ♬".) I added clear gems to the top of three of the trees to add some Christmas sparkle.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  6. It might be old pp, but it's a keeper and you've turned it into a very festive Christmas card, Liz! I was going to hum a few more bars, but I think you've tortured yourself enough already! Hugs, Darnell

  8. This is a very pretty row of trees on the dp you used Liz, and the red mat looks great, also the piece of paper for the sentiment goes well with it too, and love the added gems on several of the trees as finishing touches. I must start to make some Christmas cards soon as I have not made one yet this year, but do not want that last minute rush. x
