Leopards

A fairly quick card made using snippets.  It turned out nothing like the design I had in my head when I started!

The patterned papers are from The Range.  I added some thin, green jute along the orange panel.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Humming Along' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Rain Forest'.  I raised up the layered sentiment on foam pads.

I'll be sharing my card in the Snippets Playground and I remembered to take a photo of  my snippets. 😇 I didn't use the orange card in the end because I decided it was too bright.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  3. Such bright and pretty papers Liz, and I love the way they have the big cats with the jungle foliage behind and then pink roses all around, but the colours go really well, and the added green jute thread over the orange and white dotty paper gives a lovely organic touch, and topped by the lovely sentiment to finish. x

  11. What lovely paper this is with the big cats amongst the jungle foliage. Wise choice to just add a simple sentiment and just a little toning twine and paper strip. as the design deserves to be seen rather than covered.

  13. This card is such a vibrant and creative piece! The patterned papers with the jungle theme bring the design to life beautifully, and the addition of the green jute gives it a lovely natural touch. The simplicity of the sentiment lets the intricate details of the background shine perfectly.

  14. That's a busy paper and you've used it wonderfully and I like how you picked up the pink as an accent.

  16. A beautiful card Liz - love the jungle theme yet lightened by the pink - clever! I daren't ask where you got your lovely outline for the sentiment. A die set perhaps? Sigh!
