Thank you for all the Get Well Wishes on my last post. No chance of crafting one handed so I'm sharing a card I made for my great niece earlier this month.
The patterned paper was all snippets from a paper pad from The Range. The flowers were made from snippets too, using dies from the Jamie Rodgers 'Daisy Blossoms' set. The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up 'Humming Along' set.

Hi Liz - I just went back to your last post to see what had happened.
ReplyDeleteThanks for bringing this lovely shaped card to the Snippets Playground. Find yourself a comfy seat in the Treehouse and I'll bring you a lovely hot chocolate with extra marshmallows. xxx
Thanks Sarn, not too big a mug please. Saw the doctor today and he said I’m not allowed to lift anything heavier than a cup of tea. xx
DeleteLove the colour combo on these beautiful papers and the fabulous layout, hope you're not too sore
ReplyDeleteVery pretty for your Niece Liz. Guess I'm lucky as I'm right handed and it's my left not working so can at least prod a few things. Testing on the patience thought when thee;s so much you want to do.

That shape is amazing and you made a great card of it.
ReplyDeleteLia xx
Lovely colours on this interesting folded design. Hope your injuries heal quickly and take heed of the advice about heavy objects. Sounds like good advice.
ReplyDeleteThat's an effective fold and one I've not seen before, it's so pretty in the colours you used. As for a large hot chocolate - get a straw, no lifting required. hugs Lynn x
ReplyDeleteOh Liz, like Sarn I've just read your last post. So sorry to hear you had a tumble. I hope you are recovering well. Love the colour combo on this fab pop up card. xx

ReplyDeleteA great fold and pretty papers, a beautiful card Liz. Hope you're healing well xx
ReplyDeletePretty card, and it looks like an amazing special fold!
ReplyDeleteThe corner pop up design feels lively and joyful, and I love how the snippets from the paper pad create such a bright mix of patterns that still feel cohesive, while the layered Daisy Blossoms add a soft dimensional touch that draws the eye right into the fold of the structure, and the Humming Along sentiment finishes everything with a clean, polished focal point that suits a special card for your great niece beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you chose for this beautiful card
ReplyDeleteLovely fold and papers Liz. Hope your hand is still continuing to heal .. very frustrating but rest is definitely best! Xx
