Christmas Cats

I'm certainly getting my money's worth out of my new stepper die!  All my previous cards using this die have been decorated with patterned papers, so I decided to emboss plain card instead.
I used the same stamp and colour scheme as I did on this card HERE. The embossing folder is a Stampin' Up one, although I can't remember the name of it.  I wish the makers of embossing folders would always print the name of the folder on them!  The Little Claire's image was coloured in with Promarkers and I used a Spellbinders 'Daisy Chain' die to cut out the image. The bauble has been covered in Glossy Accents and I've added holographic Card Candi down the sides.

    1. Hi Veerle, I always used to cut all my stepper cards by hand too, but I bought this die last month.

It cuts and scores the base card, then there are separate dies in the pack which cut the scalloped rectangles to fit the card for decoration. When the card is folded, it measures about 14cm x 14cm. So handy for a quick stepper card. x

  6. Keeping the stepper card plain certainly works here. My cats would stay mesmerised by the baubles hanging on the Christmas tree for ages. They only ever took the ones off the bottom branches so we had special ones just for them hanging there. Hugs Mrs A.

  7. I am loving the step cards you've been doing. Good for you on using the die & getting your money's worth - these dies are pricey. Love the embossing on your kitties' background. It put me in mind of a knit sweater (or jumper I think you call it). Loved the silvery trim on the sides...again it was a very pretty color combo to show off your image. Well done! TFS
