Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass..............

There are a few April Showers challenges, so I made this card today.  I guess a storm is a bit more than a shower, but some showers lately have been quite heavy -  and I do love the sentiment.
The raindrops were made with a Memory Box 'Raindrops' stencil and 'Chipped Sapphire' Distress Ink. The image and sentiment are from Inkylicious, die cut and layered with Memory Box 'Stitched Ovals and Rectangles'.  The main, image is attached with foam tape to raise it up. The embossing folder is an A4 folder, 'Dots' by Sizzix.  I felt the card needed a little something in the top right hand corner, but I wasn't sure what.  After trying several things, I remembered some blue, self-adhesive teardrops gems that came free with a magazine many years ago.  I've had them so long, they weren't very self-adhesive any more!

I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:

  1. Had a chuckle about the tear drops no longer being sticky..I suspect we are all guilty of that! Love the sentiment, the stamp silhouette and the texture on the embossing folder. Gorgeous card x

  16. Ha! I used the same stamp and sentiment for my entry for the Craft Barn challenge. I love that image of the girl with the umbrella and the sentiment is such a good one. Great raindrop stencilling on the background, a very nice card.
