The Less is More challenge this week is 'Something that Pops or Bangs'. This reminded me of the children's rhyme...
Ten fat sausages sizzling in a pan,
One went POP and another went BANG!....
The image is a digi stamp from Digi Stamp Boutique, which I coloured with Promarkers. When I attached the image to the base card, it looked a little too CAS, so I added rows of small punched circles down the side. It's my niece's husband's birthday next month. This will be perfect for him, as he is a brilliant cook.
I would like to enter my card for the following challenges:
What a fun card Liz and perfect for a keen cook. I love the added punched circles down each side too. I am playing catchup on my commenting as I have been away so will be looking back to see what I have missed. x

DeleteI don't know that rhyme!! Love that image though. Dots down the side of the card were a great idea but did you have to glue them all seperately. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteIt took seconds to add the dots. A spot of glue on each scallop, then quickly dropped a punched circle on each spot of glue with a pair of tweezers. Job done!
DeleteThe rhyme continues......eight fat sausages sizzling in a pan, one went pop and another went bang! Six fat sausages........
Hi Liz,
ReplyDeletebrilliant card, and that is very clever the dots at the side.
Great image also.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
What fun, and how cool that you have the perfect person for this card. Love the rhyme (never heard it before), and I like the summer feel of this card. The green dots in the scallops added a nice touch to this CAS card. TFS the link about your EF organizational system. I remembered seeing that post, and thought it a grand idea. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI remember the rhyme well! The dots are a great addition, although at first glance I thought the green was background cardstock! Very cute - I'm sure your nieces hubby will love it!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card for a male who love`s cooking Liz.
