A Christmas card today, another one to add to the box for Christmas 2017.
The stamp is a Woodware one called 'Frosty', stamped with Memento ' Tuxedo Black' and coloured with Promarkers. The patterned papers are by Docrafts, from a pack a bought a couple of years ago in a closing down sale. It always sad to see a bricks and mortar craft shop close. I finished off my card with some punched holly leaves.

What a super fun chunky snowman - great card altogether.

Fabulous card, love the added holly. I agree it's sad when the crafting shops close and we lose all their knowledge too. There was one on my patch at work, but I never managed to time my lunch break to get in to have a look. Sadly they advertised in the craft mags that they were closing down due to retirement. I was off work when I saw the ad and so made a special trip (about an hour each way), I got some great bargains and the woman was so lovely and helpful I felt seriously guilty that it was the first time I'd been there. She was looking forward to a holiday and being able to do some reading though!
ReplyDeleteLovely card.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing at Allsorts challenge this week and good luck x Susan x

Hi Liz, a super Christmas card, love the snowman he looks ever so cute. I agree it is sad when local craft stores close, that's one reason I love heading to craft shows, it brings many small stores together in an easy accessible area, it also gives the businesses a boost from sales they wouldn't get, some of the best shops are a five hour one way trip. Have a wonderful weekend... Megan
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card! Love the background papers and the image is so fun!
