A card today using one of my favourite owl stamps.
The owl is part of a set of Woodware stamps. I haven't seen set around anywhere for a while, so sadly it may have been discontinued. I stamped the image with Memento 'Tuxedo Black' and coloured it with Promarkers. The wings are a separate stamp which I stamped, ,coloured, cut out and raised up on foam pads. The sentiment is part of the set of stamps and stamped in Versafine ' Onyx Black'. I used an Embossalicious 'Delicate Floral' embossing folder for the background and added a few Woodware punched leaves.
I am joining in the following challenges:
Cute owl and lovely colours. Might have that stamp hiding somewhere, must seek him out!
ReplyDeleteI share your love for that stamp, it's well used in my stash. Fab card, I love the embossed background and those leaves are perfect x
ReplyDeleteThe owl reminds me a little of a patchwork quilt. It's very cute. Fun sentiment and great embossing folder. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteI love your cute Woodware owl with his patchwork look Liz and the background embossing and added leaves go beautifully. A fun and pretty card. x
ReplyDeleteI love the way there are the two stamps to make this adorable owl. Such pretty colours and love the clean white embossing as the background x
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! Love your little owl and the embossing is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThese stamps are always so cute Liz, and the gorgeous patchwork design on this owl is adorable...xx
ReplyDeleteOh it is lovely! From what I saw at the Make it Show, I think the owls may have been replaced with cats, they have a cat set now very similar to the owl sets they used to have. You've made a gorgeous card with it
ReplyDeleteJane
Ooh! I've not seen the cat one, I'll need to check it out. Thanks Jane. xx
