A Christmas card today to join in with a few challenges before they close.
I've had this lovely patterned paper for ages and I thought it was time I actually used it. The image is a stamp from the Penny Black 'Wonder Collection', which I've embossed in silver. I've used Memory Box 'Stitched Rectangle' dies for the image and mat. The sentiment is a stamp from the same set, which I've stamped with Versafine 'Smokey Grey'. The sentiment was punched with a scalloped circle punch and layered on a Memory Box 'Stitched Circle' die cut. I've raised the sentiment up on foam pads to add dimension.

ReplyDeleteI have that pretty tree but I got along with some other stamps as a freebie several years ago but haven't used it lately. The soft grey looks great with that pastel green paper and the darker green matted layer brings it all together. A fabulous card Liz. x
