Cupcakes

When I saw that the Allsorts challenge this week was  Kitchen/Cooking/Baking, I knew that I had some patterned paper from an old Dovecraft paper pad which would fit the bill.

I cut off the right hand side of the card front and covered it with the patterned paper, leaving a thin white border.  The green card was embossed with a Cuttlebug cupcake embossing folder and attached to the inside of the card blank.  I used a Dovecraft cupcake punch, embossed the two parts with two different Cuttlebug embossing folders to add some texture and raised up the white part with foam pads.  To match the cupcakes on the patterned paper, I added some tiny pink hearts which were the waste from a Memory Box 'Heart of Hearts' die cut.  The computer generated sentiment is raised up on foam pads.

    oh my I think this card is excellent and so brilliantly created.
    I too had that pad of papers but I had used up the one you used.
    Love the embossed edge of the inside and your super delicious cup cake in the centre

  10. The cupcake dp and the embossing go together and complement one another beautifully Liz and love the added yummy looking cupcake using some different embossing for the case and the topping and the sweet little hearts which look great for the sprinkles. Very cleverly thought out. x
