Waterfall card

A card today in black, white and red which I made for a recent card swap.  I've been meaning to try to make a waterfall card for ages and when a friend gave me a set of dies to make a waterfall for my birthday, it seemed a perfect opportunity to make my first waterfall card.
The dies were from the Tonic 'Bouquets & Banners Waterfall' set.  I had expected some instructions with the set of dies, but there were none, so I had find a few YouTube clips to try and work it out.  I used a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder for the background and added a couple of black Card Candi to the bottom corners.

These photos show how the waterfall parts of the card open.

  3. This is a gorgeous waterfall card Liz, and the cross between an oval and a square for each of the waterfall pieces plus the white inlaid pieces on the black front piece is just that bit different, also the orange is nice and bright with the black and white, and the swiss dots embossed background goes perfectly. x

  15. Great card and well done for fathoming out how to make it. You would have thought there would be instructions with the so handy die. I've not made a waterfall for such a long time but there certainly were no dies back in the day but at least there were instructions around.

  19. Wow Liz, I am loving this waterfall card! The colors are so pretty, but what I really love is the shape of the waterfall. I usually see square ones or rectangular ones. Didn't know they made waterfall dies either. lol Love it! Hugs, Brenda
