Love is....

Another 'Love' card today.

The word stamp is an old Docrafts wood mounted one with the date 2004 on the side, so I guess I've had it quite a while!  I stamped it with Versafine 'Satin Red'.   I die cut the image with a cross stitch die, hand cut a red mat to layer it on and used a strip of cross stitch ribbon to match.   The background is embossed with a Creative Expressions 'Heart Lattice' e/f.  I added a punched scalloped heart, embossed with a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' e/f to finish off my card.

  16. Hi Liz

Your card is beautiful and I love the words and the embossed background very much.

Lots of my stamps (and papers for that matter) are very old but still going strong .. .. I have parted with some though to an old folks home so they can have a play with them.

Hope you have had a good week.

    Love Jules xx

  18. This is gorgeous and I'm so glad to see you use an older stamp. I wish we all used a lot of older stamps to give them the love we had for them when we got them. I have so many older stamps I don't need new ones but that doesn't seem to stop me from buying new things. I used paper today on my card from the 90's I think. I still love it.
