An CAS anniversary card today I made for friends of ours.
I used a Creative Expressions 'Swirling Heart' embossing folder and added tiny white pearls to the die cut heart.
I am joining in the following challenges:
I returned home tonight after a lovely weekend at a Stampin' Up retreat. I'll post a photo later of all the cards I made. My friend and I intended coming home overnight on Saturday, but as the windiest day and night of the year was forecast, we decided to book a room and stay at the hotel. I took these photos in the hotel grounds - so it looks like we made a wise decision!
Brilliant Liz, love the use of die/s used on this beautiful creative design. Thanks for entering into our current challenge. Hope to see you in our challenges again.

ReplyDeleteA Beautiful card Liz, I'm sure your friends will love it's uniqueness too. The storm WAS very bad wasn't it, how awful a beautiful tree came down like that.

Oh Liz your card is FABULOUS! OMG it must have been extremely windy to knock over a tree that size ... glad you are safe & hope you had a wonderful time! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Hearts’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

I love your card and it makes a wonderful anniversary card. I am glad you stayed safe and stayed in a hotel instead of traveling in the strong winds.
ReplyDeleteA really lovely Anniversary card, a great EF which looks super in the red card and a gorgeous heart die especially with the addition of the pearls. Thank you for joining our 'At least one heart' challenge at Allsorts.

Great card with all of the texture. I adore how the detail on the heart matches the detail of the EF. Great job and thanks for sharing it with us at Double D.
