New Baby

Welcome to my new follower, Pinky of Pinky's World Stampin' Projects.  I hope you can stop by my blog again soon.

I've been waiting for this card to arrive at its destination before posting on my blog.  I sent it over a month ago, but it only arrived a day or two ago.  It only had to travel about 100 miles, but I guess in these difficult times post sometimes takes longer to arrive.  It was sent to the daughter and husband of friends of ours, and the grandparents are still waiting for their  first cuddle.
I used dies from the Sue Wilson 'New Arrival' collection, using blue pearlised and matt silver card.  The text was computer generated to personalise the card.  Three tiny blue pearls finished off my card.

  9. This is so sweet Liz, those diecuts are gorgeous, lovely design and personalisation. It's so hard for families to be apart at a time like this when all you want to do is hold the little ones. I do hope it will be safe for the grandparents to meet the new arrival soon.

  10. What a beautiful baby card Liz! I love the little "grid like" mat and all the sweet little baby die cuts. Just adorable in every way. Yes, I think everything is slow because of the currant problem at hand. This pandemic has wreck havoc and taken lives all across the world and I sure pray someone comes out with a vaccine and soon! Hugs, Brenda

  14. What a gorgeous card Liz! Post is very slow right now I agree.

Milk Fadge recipe can be found here: https://www.lavenderandlovage.com/2012/11/rural-store-cupboard-supplies-sepia-saturday-and-milk-fadge-emergency-bread-no-yeast-recipe.html You can also make potato fadge which is why I emphasised the milk aspect of it. There's also the Stottie Cake recipe on the site that I made the other week, but for that you need strong flour and yeast, Gosh it was yummy! It's a lovely site - loads of ideas for things to cook! Sigh, as she waddles towards the fridge.

  16. Yes, I know things are a bit behind in these times, but 30 days to travel 100 miles? You could have walked it over there, lol! It's a really darling keepsake baby card for the celebration of Dylan, Liz! My heart aches for the grandparents. Take care and keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
