Baaaaa!

It's a friend's birthday today and she loves anything 'sheep' related.   This is the card I made for her. We spent a lovely couple of hours this morning socially distancing in her garden with a couple of other friends.  It was lovely to do something 'normal' now some of the lockdown restrictions have been lifted in the UK.  We won't be visiting any beaches or anywhere busy for quite a while though!

My design was inspired by cards I saw on Kath's blog HERE and HERE.  I die cut Tattered Lace 'Sheep Border' and placed on a rectangle of turquoise card.  I used a scoreboard to emboss three stripes above and below where the sheep were going to go.  I turned the card over and attached the sheep in the gap.  The sentiment was layered and raised up on foam pads.  Three pearls finished off my card.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  9. What cute sheep and the framing works excellently Liz, and such a pretty blue colour card too. We have been for a few walks by the sea but not to any popular tourist spots and so far it has been fine. Glad you had a good catch up..socially distanced of course. x
