Embossed Sunflowers

If you haven't already done so, please read my previous post HERE.  It relates to fraudulent transactions on bank accounts.

A sunflower card today, using a new embossing folder for the first time.

The Lisa Horton's 'Sunflower' embossing folder is a 3D one and embosses beautifully.  I used the  e/f with white card for the background. Using a snippet of yellow card,  I embossed just the middle flower, then fussy cut it.  With a tiny snippet of brown card, I embossed just the centre of the flower, fussy cut the cirle and attached it to the yellow flower.  The yellow flower was raised up on foam tape.  The sentiment from the SU 'Humming Along' set of stamps was stamped with Versafine Clair 'Acorn'.

I am joining in the following challenges:

  1. Really pretty Liz and using your namesake sunflower, and the 3D embossing in white is the perfect background to show off your yellow sunflower so cleverly embossed and fussy cut to place over the top. This is a very cheery 'feel better soon' card. x

  18. A lovely embossing folder and you made a beautiful flower to add to this feel better card. It is so cheery and bound to make someone feel better. Thanks for the warning about the bank account. I recently had fraud on my credit card and had to cancel it. What a shame people do this.

  23. Well, you had to have that embossing folder didn't you Liz! A super card and a nice sunny feel to brighten these dull winter days, many thanks for sharing 'Something New' with us at Allsorts challenge this week.

Read your earlier post, I had something similar this time last year, a small transaction which is the norm we see (at work) which usually leads to bigger things. Luckily I picked up the small transaction, rang the bank and it seemed there were several more in the pipeline which they blocked - a ski holiday, sports products from the States and airline tickers, in all about £4K.
