Please check your bank account statements. 'Destination Athlete' are fraudulently attempting to take money from bank accounts, often for small amounts. Ours was for just 23p, but another friend's was $94. It's happened to at least five other friends over the last few days, all crafters.

The fraud department of the bank said it was a result of an online purchase I made. They didn't know which site wasn't secure or when I'd made the purchase which resulted in my details being compromised. xx
DeleteLuckily we are fine. Hubby checks our bank account every day and that name hasn't shown up. Thanks for the warning though! x

ReplyDeleteThere is a common link between me and my friends, but apparently there are some other crafters affected that haven’t used this particular website. I don’t think it is appropriate to say on here which website we bought from, but just advise everyone to keep an eye on their bank statements. x

ReplyDeleteJust as well it was found out Liz, how many people don't check their accounts. I had an extra look just in case. Awful for the website too, it could affect all their sales.
