A card I made for a card swap, which I can post now that I know it's been received.
I used a Marianne Designs cross stitch die in cream card and die cut again with a Spellbinders 'Lacey Squares' die. I used crochet cotton to stitch the design. I layered the lacey square on a Memory Box 'Stitched Square Layers' die cut. The cream embossed background was done with a Spellbinders 'Dainty Dots' embossing folder. The sentiment is raised up on a foam pads and layered over a strip of ribbon.

ReplyDeleteOh my, this is a gorgeous card Liz! I love your cross stitch pattern, the little pink flower is so pretty. I love the color combo of the green, pink and white as well as the embossing on the background. Do you just make up a pattern to cross stitch, or do you have a pattern that you follow? I just it when I see you do cross stitched cards! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brenda. Usually I find a pattern online and tweak it a bit to fit the size of the die cut. xx
