Swirled Circles

A card today using up lots of snippets of Christmas patterned paper.

The patterned paper pad was from The Works.  It was much easier to make than it looks,  just two sets of four circles of different sizes layered together, then cut in half.  This was enough to make two cards.   At least it should have been easy if I hadn't used paper with a directional pattern!  I had to remake one set or the Christmas trees would have been upside down.  Lesson learnt! The sentiment strip was from the same paper pad.  I added a few red pearls to finish my card.

    1. I have seen a few cards using this technique, so it's not my idea. Looking forward to seeing your card. Remember to use plain or non-direction patterned paper for the circles. 😉

    1. I got the idea from other cards I’d seen and a demo on the Nifty Noddles Facebook page, so it’s not my original idea. Looking forward to seeing your version sometime. xx

  20. Love this card Liz! I love when I see this circle design and have intentions of trying this myself. Love the papers you chose, sorry about the directional paper messing you up though. That is something I wouldn't have given a thought about until after I cut the circles and went to use the other half. lol I hope I remember this for when I go to try it out! Hugs, Brenda
