50th Birthday Card

A Folding Book Fold birthday card for a friend who is celebrating her fiftieth birthday tomorrow.  This is the second card I've made using this fold, after watching a video on the Nifty Noodles Crafting Facebook page.  My first card is HERE.

The patterned paper is from a paper pad  which came as the cover gift with a craft magazine a few years ago.  I used a Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' for the two front panels.  The flower is a Memory Box 'Prim Poppy' die cut.  I cut it first in green and then in red, snipping of the red flower heads and layering over the green ones.  I used dies from The Works for the numbers.

I entered the first Floating Book Fold Card into the March Memory Box Challenge and somehow missed that I should have used red as a feature element on the card, so I'll be joining in the challenge again with this card.

I am joining in the following challenges:
Memory Box Challenge #93 ~ Floral Favourites (remembering this time that 'red' needs to be the feature element. 😉)

  1. Another really effective fold Liz and striking colour palette, that Poppy is one that has been so useful over time along with Swiss dots.
