The Allsorts Challenge has the optional theme this week of 'Embellish It'.
I used a MFT 'Cross-Stitch Flower Frame' die with black card and used white crochet cotton for the stitching. I layered it on Memory Box 'Stitched Circle Layers' die cuts. The background was embossed with a Spellbinders 'Dainty Dots' embossing folders. I used clear flower gems to embellish the card and added a sentiment.

As I had all my stash out, I made a second card, reversing the colours.

This is a wonderful mono make. I've not seen a cross stitch die before but it is very effective.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the two monochromatic looks on these prettily cross stitched cards using this delightful flower shape Liz, and the embossed dainty dots go beautifully in the background and finished beautifully with the flower shaped gems. x
