I've just realised that I haven't posted anything on my blog, apart from scheduled DT and GD cards, since the beginning of April. Our daughter was unexpectedly taken into hospital last month for another major operation, so my blog and visiting blogs I follow have taken a back seat for a few weeks. I made this card for Jo a month ago, but due to her operation being cancelled three times at the last minute, we could only give it to her last week when she finally had her operation.
The patterned paper is from The Works. I used one of the patterned papers to die cut the Memory Box 'Chloe Stem'. The sentiment is a stamp from the SU 'Humming Along' set, stamped with Versafine Clair 'Glamorous'.
As everything I used was from my snippets drawer, apart from the card blank, I'll be sharing my card over in The Playground this week.
I am joining in the following challenges:
I'm so sorry your daughter had to go through another operation and hope she is doing okay now. Those last minute cancellations take a toll on you. This paper is so pretty and I like that great color. Perfect to perk someone up.
