Twofer

Two fairly quick and easy cards today.

The first is a birthday card for a friend who loves sheep and is celebrating her birthday next weekend.  I used a pre-coloured digi stamp from Beccy's Place, which I think may have been discontinued.  I resized the image to fit a DL card and added a sentiment typed on the computer.  The frame was made with a die from Lisa Horton's 'Slimline Inverted Scallop Frame' set.

The Rudoph Days May Challenge begins today.  I missed last month as I was in Plymouth for several days visiting my daughter in hospital, so I wanted to make sure I made a card in time this month.  The dove and sentiment are dies from the Tonic 'Peace Dove' set I won a little while ago in The Playground.  The navy blue card is textured, but it doesn't show up in the photo. Three pearls finished off my card.  This is the first time I've used them, so I'll be sharing my card over in the NBUS Challenge.

  2. Love the sentiment you added to your sheep card Liz, and I'm sure your friend will get a kick out it! The scalloped border looks great and works well with the woolly image. Your Christmas card is pretty too. The deep blue and white are a lovely combination.
    Cheers,
    Beccy

  3. I love the look on that sheep's face and the inverted scalloped frame looks great with it Liz, and the peace dove and sentiment pop against that pretty blue background cut in white and perfect with just the leafy branch in green, and finished with three pretty pearl gems. x

  19. Your birthday card for your sheep-loving friend sounds adorable! It's always thoughtful to personalize cards with sentiments and frames, especially using unique dies like those from Lisa Horton's collection. And jumping back into the Rudolph Days May Challenge after missing last month's due to family obligations shows your dedication to your craft and the community. The peaceful scene you created with the Tonic 'Peace Dove' set sounds lovely, especially with the subtle texture of the navy blue card and the delicate touch of the pearls.
