I had a few money wallets to make for teenage family members, so I got out my Christmas paper snippets and made three wallets.
The patterned paper is from a 12" x 12" pad from The Works.
To keep the wallet closed I used half a velcro dot, a whole dot was too strong and I added a Merry Christmas sentiment. I keep the inside of the flap plain to write the message.
I actually remembered to take of photo of some of the snippets I used. There were plenty of snippets to choose from!

ReplyDeleteThe wallet looks very festive with those papers. Great idea about using HALF a Velcro dot for the closure. I have some larger Velcro ovals I bought for use around the home. They are languishing in a drawer - but now they will be rehoused in my craft room ready to be chopped up for closures!!! Thanks!!!

Your money wallets are lovely Liz. I like your idea of velcro to close them - I made belly bands for the wallets for our younger family members, but will get the velcro out next year!
